Q. Can I recycle the pots that my new plants came it?

A.
Because they are black and potentially dirty, I don't think anyone takes them to be recycled [yet].

Some Nurseries will take them back for reuse. Solano College has a plant department, and the local CA Native Plant people in Benicia and Vallejo or SDRC in Elmira be able to use a few.
